We’ve identified a critical nursing staff shortage in hospitals, long-term facilities, and home care, and we are here to bridge that gap. With those three words in mind, the founders began hiring caregivers to provide in-home personal care and homemaker services. As the years progressed, they found that to keep people home, they needed to offer more than just non-medical services. What evolved was a company that could meet ALL of a consumer’s home care needs, no matter their age, diagnosis, or their ability to pay for services.
They provide a good care plan. They are always prompt and on time. They always keep you informed and in the loop.

Approved home care services under CDHCI are billed directly to Alberta Blue Cross — you will not pay upfront for approved hours. If you request services outside your approved care plan, we will explain payment options.
CDHCI lets you receive services from AHS-approved providers (we provide the caregiver and handle billing). SMC gives the client more direct control to hire and manage paid caregivers themselves. We can explain both and help you choose.

Our caregivers are trained to follow your care plan, call emergency services when required, and notify YYC Compassionate Caregivers Limited and your emergency contact immediately.
